Chapter Twenty
Patty was delighted as Grizz kissed her for long moments in the parking lot of the hospital. He kissed her even longer when they’d parked on the ranch. He was still kissing her when there was a knock at the truck’s window.
Mac grinned into the driver’s side window. Grizz growled, murderously low. The low and beastly rumble didn’t wipe the cheek from Mac’s grin.
“I know the honeymoon isn’t over yet,” said Mac. “But your presence is needed at the camp. We’re already behind Keaton’s crazy schedule, and we need to go over an order for new supplies that weren’t in the original budget.”
“How much?” Grizzled growled even lower.
Mac shrugged. “Shouldn’t be more than a grand after we split it six ways.”
