“I think we should leave some sort of a trail. We could end up wandering around here forever.” Josh took a few deep breaths. They had walked quite a way and though he was trying to stay calm, tiny telltale beads of sweat were forming on his forehead. From his early childhood, his greatest fear was to be lost somewhere in the dark; this was a little too close for comfort. “Yes Josh, you're probably right,” Pete replied. “But we haven't anything we can use to mark a trail. Perhaps we shouldn't go too much further today.
