“This case is weird, sir,” Izzie Drake said to Andy Ross as the pair sat in Ross's small office, comparing notes and ideas for a few precious uninterrupted minutes.
“I won't argue with that,” Ross agreed. “But just to humour me, explain your version of 'weird' Izzie.”
“Well, these people seem to have gone to extraordinary lengths to get hold of what turns out to be very dodgy treatment for cancer and some b****y deadly toxins that can be used to manufacture some kind of a self-destructing virus that kills its host and then destroys itself. Why go to that trouble? Surely, they could just have raided the research facility in Brazil, taken what they wanted and then got the hell out of Dodge City without all this weird subterfuge and unnecessary killing.”
