Chapter Nine
Sean had been caught by parents before with girls. It had never been more than kissing. The parents had never been too upset when they found their daughters in his embrace. Sean was a great student, came from a great family, and had a great future ahead of him.
That was then.
This was now.
Dr. Patel steepled his fingers on his large desk. They didn’t sit in the arranged chair and chaise lounge like when Sean was at his therapy sessions. This wasn’t a session. This was an interrogation.
“So,” began the doctor. “You and Ruhi?”
That was it? That’s how Dr. Patel planned to start this conversation. Where was Sean supposed to take that? There were so many directions.
