Chapter Eight
For the first time in days, Ruhi woke without immediately rushing to bend over the toilet. Her stomach grumbled with hunger instead of upset. She felt light instead of foggy.
Her hand rubbed over her abdomen. Her belly was still flat, but she felt different. She had the knowledge that a new life was within her. And she, herself, was starting a new life.
