chapter 36

Chillio pov

I was rushing through the house, trying to get dinner ready, i took me a fast shower that got dressed sweat shorts and a pullover baggy shirt, i put my hair up in a messy bun, I pulled out two steaks, shrimp, and bake potatoes, when the potatoes were done, i opened them up, i put butter sourcream and some cooked mushrooms on top, i got the cooked steaks placing them on the plate with the cooked onions I put the shrimp beside the steak, I washed the pots and pans cleaned off the stove, than placed the plates on the dining room table with a candle in the middle, i went to the bathroom to wash up so i wouldn't smell like food, I changed my shirt than put on another pair of sweat shorts, i even brushed my teeth again, I walked out of the bathroom just as Jack was walking into the house, he stopped in his tracks when he saw the food on the table. than he looked up at me, he made a strange face like he was trying to figure something out, i stood there watching him, what the h3ll was he doing, His eyes went wide like he figured it out, he quickly walked over to me pulling me in his arms,

‘Why didn’t you tell me you were pregnant, Chillio? I would have come back sooner instead of leaving you by yourself?” I gently pulled away from him,

‘Did Wolfe tell you?”

“No, I could smell the baby, " You told Wolfe before you told me? But why?”

‘`If you remember ten years ago, you said you weren't the fatherly type, I was scared that you might be angry with me, I didn't know what to do. so I went to Wolfe to talk to him.”

“I'm glad you did. He told me not to come see him when i got back, to go straight home, i was worried that you were going to reject me, honey, and that was ten years ago. We were so young at the time, but we are older now. Our daughter or son, will take my place once i step down from being beta, Come on lets eat before dinner gets cold, After i see Alpha Wolfe tomorrow, I will do some planning on building this place bigger, we are going to need some extra room now since we are having a baby,” The food was ate, after dinner he helped me with the dishes, he even mopped the floor. that night all we did was talk about the baby and how we were going to build the house bigger for us, I was scared for no reason, of course we are older and wiser now, I'm just glad i went to Wolfe to speak with him,

The next day he went to go see the alpha, once he was back home, he started with the plans to build onto the house, since we are wolves we only carry the baby for six months, when humans carry theirs for nine. so the baby will be coming sooner that humans do. We had alot to do before that happens.

Wolfe pov

So it was three days before the ball now my wolf was going crazy for some reason, he wouldn’t let me get anything done, I had to put the wall up between him and I so i could get the paperwork done, A few hours later the paperwork was done phone calls where made emails was checked, I finally took the wall down that was blocking my wolf,

‘Alright Alpha, what in the h3ll is wrong with you. Why are you so antsy for?”

“Do you realize we have three days before the royal ball We are going to find our mate, our other half that will help put this pack together,”

‘Don’t you realize I know this. Mom would be thrilled if we found her that night, but i won't just have any mate, i know we played around alot, we been around a block or two, but i don't want her to be like that, she needs to be honest with what she has done, if i smell any male on her,”

“Hey dumbass, you do realize she could reject us as well, we are not a virgin either, So before you judge her, you better think what happens if she decides she doesn’t want us. Stop being a big shot alpha, she wont like that,” I hate it when he was right, but wait,

‘What happens if she’s a werebear or a werecat?”

‘So, that just makes her even stronger,

“Fine, fine, you just better hope she isn’t a w***e. i do have my standards.”

“You didn't have your standards last night when Sally came into our room pouncing on us, wanting us to mark her while we take her from behind,” again he was right, i hated that,

“Fine, your right, but i didn't mark her, i just fuc’ked her like she liked it, she night even find her mate at the ball too, goddess i hope so. that way she will leave me alone,” i was so into talking to my wolf i didn't see my mother walk into the room,

‘Young man, do you have a suit for the royal ball, your not going in there with just jeans and a shirt on,” i looked up when i heard my moms voice, i had to shake my head because i didn't hear one thing she just said to me,

‘I’m sorry mom, i was talking to Alpha, what did you just say?” She looked at me like she could slap me in my head for not hearing her the first time. After dad passed away twenty years ago, she has been the main reason why this pack has stayed together. With my help of course, dad died of cancer, we didn't get it in time, by the time he had gone to the doctor, it had already eaten him up. there was no getting it out, it was already in the last stages, dad passed away doing what he loved most, being with his family We were all on stage passing the alpha title to me, once it was all done and said, we walked off the stage, the pack was celebrating while we went home, he sat down told us he loved us and than he was gone, we knew it was just a matter of time. We didn't know it would be the last time we heard his voice. Mom is still in mourning, until she feels like she has done enough mourning. She loved my dad with all her heart. She just doesnt want me to feel that she is replacing my father, trust me I know she wouldn’t be. i just want her happy, maybe she will find her mate at the ball, i know if he is an alpha she would be leaving with him, she's a strong warrior luna, she is always out there with the warriors training,

‘Are you listening to me Wolfe, i said i hope you have a suit to wear for the royal ball, because your not wearing jeans and a shirt,” I couldn't help but laugh, my mom only wears jeans and tshirts, she's always have, she doesnt wear long dresses, or skirts like some lunas do, she never had as far as i know, I decided to play along with her, i knew she will hate this,

‘Alright mom, i will have a suit to wear to the royal ball, as long as you wear a dress and not some pants suit,” she looked at me like i was nuts, her wearing a dress no way., but then she smirked at me, she had something up her sleeve, i knew she did, with that look i always know that mom had a idea in her head about something,

“Alright mom, What do you have in mind?” smirking she patted my head like i was a little boy,

‘Don’t you worry, i have something in mind to wear to the ball, it might be a pants suit,but ill mix it up a little don't you worry,” she walked out of my office while i was shaking my head, my mother can be crazy sometimes, but thats my mom, i would never trade her for anything or anyone else,
