CHAPTER 9 The post came early in the morning. Una was glad to inform Peytra that the arches and doors did not need to be finished by the time the ball was to happen. Then she handed Peytra the letter addressed to her. Peytra absconded to her room and read the note in secret. My Dearest Peytra, I do not know which will reach you first – this letter or myself.
