"SELENA GET DOWN!" I scream at my mate as she goes to kneel beside me. She is going to be crushed under the earthquake.
What the f**k happened?
One second we were all talking and laughing, getting to know each other and the next Selene screamed for us to get down and flew into me and knocked me over. Now she is kneeling and making a bigger target out of herself. I try to push her down under me so I can shield her, but she pushes my hands away.
"No, Caleb! I need to kneel to do this." She yells over all the noise. I look over and see my mother, aunt Amber and Selena's entire family kneeling where they are as well. All of them holding their hands above their heads.
