"What about their homes?" Selena asks, her voice shaking with exhaustion.
"I had other pack members and the Gamma family helping clear out and assess their homes as we worked here, sweetheart. Don't worry." She sighs with a small smile.
"Well, it's gotten late. How does y'all feel about food?" Stomachs grumble all around mom, and she laughs.
"I will make sure food is prepared. Get showered. We'll eat and then go to bed. The day turned out a little different, but my mate and I thank everyone for all your help out here! It will not be forgotten." Queen Sascha locks her arm with moms and says that's what family does, and we are family, so that's what we do from now on! Mom nods with a tear clearing a path in the dirt down her cheek.
