Kim slipped through the gap in the gates, Taylor right behind her, and was immediately swept up into Joshua’s arms. “Congratulations!” He kissed her forehead. “I always knew ye were bloody brilliant, but now it’s been verified. Contracts signed and everything.”
She hugged him back, beaming. “Thank you. There’s still a long way to go, though.”
Joshua released her, then shrugged. “Doesnae matter,” he closed the gates and swung the metal bar back into place, “it’s always the bureaucracy and red tape that takes the time. People in suits wi’ bits o’ paper. This next bit, ye and a bunch of other brainy buggers, will be much quicker. Ye’ll have the ygrene up and runnin’ in no time. All right, bro?” He nodded at his twin, and the three of them headed for the house.
