##Chapter 11 The Old Enemy

I took the medicine and felt better. I was about to sleep when my phone rang.

I got the phone, and it was from Anna.

"Jo Jo, come to the bar tight now."

I cleared my thoughts and replied, "Anna, I'm not feeling well now. I'm afraid I can't come over."

"You must come here!" Anna said in a serious tone. She seldom talked to me in such a hard tone.

"What's wrong?" my instinct told me there was something serious.

Anna kept silent for a while and replied, "You'll know it when you come here." Then she hung up the phone.

I had no idea what happened, but I had to get up and head for the bar, regardless of the bad health.

I directly went to Anna as soon as I arrived.

Anna dragged me into the room. She tidied my dress and said, "Jo Jo, Leopard wants to meet you."

"What?" I shouted, with fear in my heart.

What happened to Leopard and me still remained fresh in my mind. If Wayne didn't save me, I could have been tortured to death by Leopard. Now no one could help me, what should I do?

"Jo Jo, listen to me. Don't resist him. Put up with what he does to you. It's no worse than losing your life," Anna said to me.

Suddenly the door was kicked open. Leopard's men broke in and clamped my wrists. Then he tried to drag me out of the room.

"Anna!" I shouted loudly.

But Anna had no way to help me. She shook her head to me with a miserable look.

I closed my eyes and thought it would be a terrible night.

Anna told me to compromise, but how far could I compromise? What if Leopard made trouble for me? Under that condition, I even thought of suicide.

It seemed Leopard had waited for me for a long time. When his men threw me into the room, there were several empty bottles in front of him.

Seeing I come in, Leopard looked up and stared at me with a vicious look.

My eyes turned to the terrifying gun on his waist subconsciously.

Leopard stood up and approached me step by step. I slumped on the floor and moved backward until I reached the wall. I felt the stomachache again.

Leopard walked towards me and kicked hard on my body. He growled, "You b***h! Do you feel happy with Mr. Wayne as your back?"

Wayne's name suddenly came to my mind.

I covered my body where he just kicked. I kept up the courage and said, "Leo, I offended you last time, and it was my fault. I apologize to you. But if you hurt me today, aren't you afraid Mr. Wayne will take revenge on you?"

Sure enough, it was useful for Leopard. Hearing what I had said, his face suddenly changed, "What does it have to do with Mr. Wayne?"

I paused for a while. I had no idea if the words I was going to say would offend Mr. Wayne. But I had no other choice now. After all, I was barely to save myself. In my eyes, Mr. Wayne was nicer than Leopard.

"I'm Mr. Wayne's woman, don't you know?" I plucked my courage and said to him.

Leopard's face turned gloomy. He seized my hair and said, "Don't try to scare me! Listen, I, Paul Brook, have never been scared by anyone!"

Paul Brook!

The two words exploded in my mind like a lightning. I would never forget the name.

When I was at a loss, the knock came from outside. Then Amy came in.

Amy glanced at me nervously, and she smiled at Leopard, "Leo, I'm sorry. I'm here for Jo Jo."

Leopard's face was dark, "Don't you see she is having fun with me?"

"I'm sorry, Leo. I don't want to spoil the enjoyable moment. But Mr. Wayne comes, and he wants to meet Jo Jo. You know, Mr. Wayne's order..." Amy paused on purpose.

Leopard looked at me and then Amy. After a long time, he turned to me and said cruelly, "Keep in mind! Don't mention me when you meet Mr. Wayne."

I nodded blankly.

Amy pulled my hand and escaped from the room.

I followed Amy out of the room. Her palm was sweating, and she took me to the lounge.

"Don't you say Mr. Wayne is here?" I was wondering.

Amy closed the door nervously, "No! I used Mr. Wayne as an excuse to save you!"

I was totally relieved then.

I came over and hugged Amy to express my gratitude.

She pushed me away and said to me with a sad look, "Jo Jo, I can help you this time, but not every time. Leopard has targeted you. What are you going to do?"

Amy's words drove me strained again.

I was just a dancing girl who lived at the lowest level of society. What could I manage to do against an evil force like Leopard?

Due to Leopard, my life became so hard. I had been dreaming of revenge on him over the years. But when the enemy showed up in front of me, I found I was too weak to fight against him. I could hardly do anything.

"Jo Jo?" seeing I didn't respond, Amy called me slightly.

I looked up at her and felt warm in my heart. If she didn't risk her life to rescue me, I had no idea what would happen to me today.

"Amy, thank you. You've done too much for me. Let me solve the problem on my own."

Amy wore a bitter smile. "Jo Jo, actually... life is too cruel for us. Just compromise when you have no way to go," she left the words and left.

I sat in the lounge and covered the painful stomach. I couldn't tell the feeling in my heart.

Paul Brook.

I never expected Leopard's real name was Paul Brook. I would never forget the name. He abducted William and made William be like this.

Leopard was the chief culprit for our tragic lives.

I would definitely revenge on him. Even if I lost my life, I would never spare him.

Mr. Wayne's name emerged in my mind. Leopard was so afraid of Wayne. Maybe I could make use of Wayne to revenge.

But how could I approach Wayne?
