Jennifer had a bad hunch. For the first time since running away from Jims' house and since living there Jennifer had an uneasy feeling. Something bad is going to happen at the party tonight.

Jennifer looked at herself in the mirror. Maria is very good at makeup. Jennifer looks very beautiful. Especially with the party dress used. Jennifer turned into a classy woman.

"Are you ready?" Alex came. He came on time.

"Of course." Jennifer got up and saw that Alex didn't blink when she saw him.

"Let's go," said Alex, interrupting Jennifer's thoughts.

The two of them immediately left the house. A car was waiting there. Rey opened the door for both of them. Rey was very neat in a suit. a headphone he wears on his head.

Not long after, the car drove to the designated place, namely Veronica's hall in the middle of the city. It is said that the hall is full of tragedies of death. Whoever occupies the hall there is always a victim. Jennifer thought someone had purposely put the event in the hall. That person must have some plans in that place.

"Do you look tense?" Alex asked Jennifer.

Jennifer just nodded. Alex immediately grabbed Jennifer's hand. "I believe you can handle it."

The two of them walked on the red carpet into the hall. The camera flash never stopped accompanying the two of them entering the house.

"For a moment I felt like I had become a celebrity," Jennifer said.

Alex smiled. "You're prettier than any other couple. Even celebrities who are here will look at you with envy," said Alex. "But where did you get the necklace from?" Alex asked.

"This is your father's gift," Jennifer said.

Alex looked back. In her heart, Jennifer was sure that Alex knew that the necklace belonged to her mother. Luckily, Alex didn't know that the water in the crystal he was wearing was most likely the same as Jennifer's which had been broken.

When the two entered the building. Many people stared at Alex. They looked on in amazement. Jennifer and Alex are like the perfect celebrity couple like gods and goddesses.

Jennifer herself was busy looking around. The party was very lively compared to Cloe's wedding. There were many rich people and businessmen who came. Not forgetting some celebrities. Everyone must be very proud to come to the party. Because only important people are invited.

Suddenly some old businessman came and separated Alex and Jennifer. At first Alex wanted to turn them down but Jennifer encouraged Alex to build a profitable relationship.

"Finally I saw an angel who came down from the sky," said Max. He came with a glass of drink in his hand.

Jennifer was about to leave, but Max held her back. Max noticed the necklace around Jennifer's neck. He looked very surprised and confused.

Jennifer was absolutely sure that the man must have been a professional killer. So that the shot will not miss. However, who will be the target of assassination in that place?

Jennifer racked her brains. It seemed unlikely that Max would kill Hamilton in such a crowded place. If that happens then the suspects will be Martha and Cloe. Because the two of them still haven't been seen at the party. The event is almost starting. Jennifer looked at Max and accidentally looked where Max was looking. Impossible. Max glanced at Alex. Suddenly Jennifer felt her heart pounding.

Jennifer turned and saw Martha with Cloe. Both are very graceful. Especially with the diamond necklace around their neck. Including earrings that hang beautifully in both their ears.

Martha smiled mockingly. While Cloe pretended to be busy looking for something with her expensive bag.

"What about Jennie? I managed to drive them away," said Alex.

"Thank you," Jennifer replied, making Alex tighten her grip even more. So that Jennifer's body closes. That's when the dance music played slowly. Some people immediately went down with their respective partners and started moving their bodies.

"You are very beautiful tonight, Jennie. I feel like eating you," Alex whispered as he hugged Jennie. His hands and feet moved slowly and Jennie followed suit.

As the two turned around, that's when Jennie saw the muzzle of a gun in the distance aiming at Alex's body.
