Jennifer was very surprised to see the muzzle of the gun pointed at Alex. Jennifer thought quickly, she just realized that Alex is the key that must be removed so that the Hamilton family treasure belongs to Martha. If Alex dies, then there is no longer any heir to the family. Jennifer had led Alex to his death. Because it was Jennifer who had instigated Alex to return to the house.

When the shot was fired Jennifer immediately pulled Alex and changed his position. The bullet pierced Jennifer's arm. The feeling of heat and burning was felt. Jennifer screamed in pain. Alex immediately took Jennifer who had fainted into the car. He decided to return to live at his mother's house. He called Maria and Stefani to follow him to his mother's house. After that Alex immediately saw the wound on Jennifer's arm. As expected, the wound on the arm began to close by itself. Meanwhile, the bullet that had been lodged inside had been pushed out and fell under the car seat.

Jennifer moved and got up. Alex immediately helped Jennifer to sit down slowly. Then Alex sat down next to Jennifer.

"Are you okay?" Jennifer asked anxiously.

Seeing Jennifer still thinking about Alex's safety even though he was injured. Alex couldn't take it anymore. He immediately hugged Jennifer and kissed the top of her head.

"You were shot by Jennie. But how can you still think about me," said Alex.

"It's because they wanted to kill you. It's all my fault. I was the one who put you in danger," Jennifer said.

"Calm down. We've returned to my mother's house," said Alex.

Jennifer looked around. After that, you can breathe easy. Jennifer didn't want Alex's life to be at stake anymore.

"Then where is the shooter?" asked Jennifer curiously.

"He's committed suicide." Alex told him everything that had happened. Until they finally arrived at the house.

"So you suspect that the three of them conspired?" Jennifer asked.

"I have proof that the three of them are not good people. Do you know who Martha's previous husband was?" asked Alex.

Jennifer shook her head.

"It's better that you don't know. Rest, you must be still in shock. I've asked Maria and Stefani to make your favorite food," said Alex.

"Thank you," Jennifer said.

Soon Maria came with a fruit salad. Jennifer really likes the food. Besides tasting good, fruit salad has many benefits. Jennifer immediately devoured the food.

After finishing Jennifer immediately helped clean their room. Meanwhile Alex excused himself out. That's when Jennifer took the time to see what was happening on the news. Of course the news of the shooting was broadcast directly on television media. When Jennifer watched the news she accidentally saw Janeth.

"Janeth," Jennifer said, standing up.

Janeth wears sunglasses. Even though at first glance Jennifer was pretty sure it was Janeth. Without thinking Jennifer immediately left her job and headed straight for that place.

"Where are you going madam?" asked Mary.

"I need a minute," Jennifer said, rushing out of the house.

Without hesitation Jennifer took a taxi to the area across the street from the hall that had previously been used as a party venue. There some media are still busy broadcasting the news. Jennifer saw everyone walking. But Janeth was nowhere to be seen.

Jennifer was sure that Janeth was around the place. From the house to the place does not take a very long time. Jennifer continues to search for several possible locations that Janeth went to. But wherever Jennifer looks for Janeth, she is still nowhere to be found.

"Where are you Janeth," Jennifer said.

When Jennifer crouched in despair. A girl wearing sunglasses is seen being picked up by a black car. Just as Jennifer stood up and looked, the girl was passing him in the car. Janeth stepped in the desired direction while the car drove in the opposite direction. Fate was not on their side. However, the two of them are very close. It was just that the time for the two to meet wasn't that day. Jennifer was forced to go home in despair.
