After going to Melissa's room to try on the ceremony dress, I walked outside to where the eagle shifter was supposed to drop a package. I used the excuse that I needed to get some fresh air. This side of the packhouse was had very few windows looking over it. It was peaceful as I sat on the bench beside the koi pond. I heard a piercing cry in the sky above.

I looked up to see the odd-looking eagle soaring above and wondering how others did not spot him. He flew over the pond and cried again and dropped something from his talons. I watched as a velvet satchel fell to the bushes, and then the eagle was gone.
