Martin and Anya took the car and went out visiting the surrounding beaches. There were several small beaches not far from there from the center of Lagos. Martin bought food, water, juice and sweets for them to eat on the sand when they felt hungry. Anya tried to see the romantic side, pretending that he had proposed a picnic by the sea, under the hot sun, enjoying the breeze, looking at the scenery, enjoying those unique moments that might be their last. She ignored the fact that he didn't want to eat in restaurants and that he bought food or brought it from home so he wouldn't have to spend it on the street. She wanted more to enjoy the weather, the trip, to warm her soul and be happy.
