Chapter 31
March 31, 2017, Friday night.
Martin and Anya traveled together for the first time after their breakup. They were going to sleep in Oslo to catch a plane to Faro the next day early in the morning. It was their first time on a plane and this was causing Anya to act like a child in a confectionery shop being able to choose whatever candy she wanted. Anya was carrying a black bag with white polka dots that she bought in Germany on a weekend cruise the year before. Martin for his part was carrying an armed forces backpack, something grotesque, very tall, very heavy, that he had to carry on his back, and it was green. Anya couldn't bear to look at it.
