“Stop,” Kyoko whispered with tears streaming down her face.
“I cannot let him live while he seeks to take you from me.” Tadamichi reiterated. “He will die for his indiscretion.”
Kyoko struggled in his hold, wanting to look away but his fingers dug into her face, forcing her to watch. She closed her eyes only for them to fly open when she felt claws press threateningly into her soft skin.
“Watch my dear as I kill the love he has for you by ending him,” He whispered harshly.
Kyoko’s lips parted in horror when his other hand closed in an iron fist as though he were gripping something tightly between his fingers.
Amni finally fell to his knees just outside the cage, one hand holding the bars while the other scratched at his neck… trying to pry the invisible fingers from his flesh.
