I growled deeply when I saw Carina on the floor covered in blood. She was in wolf form and unresponsive. Davian was right behind us in the hallway, and I knew he’d loose his mind if she was injured or worse…
I linked the other two to keep him in the hallway, and I shifted into human form. I grabbed a pair of shorts from the drawers and leaned down to the large mass on the floor in front of me.
Her chest was moving, but the breathing was slow and irregular. I breathed a sigh of relief. She was alive, but severely injured. Davian was growling in the hallway. He was beginning to figure out why the other two wouldn’t let him pass, and he could smell Carina’s scent.
