“You are amazing,” he whispers in my ear before crashing his lips to mine. I pull back after a moment and entwine my hand with his. Together, the six of us begin walking away from the platform as the group begins to disperse.
“What would have happened if I would have not accepted the challenge?” I ask them.
“Technically nothing,” Jake tells me.
“But you would be viewed as weak. You would probably start getting picked on and more than likely be challenged again,” Eli explains.
“Yeah, and if you're challenged a third time, you have to accept and from what I hear from history, by that point you would never win,” Jake finishes. I mull this over in my head.
“Am I going to have any other jealous exes to deal with in the future?” I ask Eli. He stops and turns to me.
