“Okay then, I would really like to see Eli now,” I tell her, a blush rising in my cheeks. Her face suddenly turns downcast for a moment and she looks at me hard.
“There’s one more thing I need to tell you,” she says a little nervously. I just lift my eyebrows in a ‘go on’ gesture. “The night we met the guys at the party, I told them your whole backstory. I had to!
