They were already getting close to Kent Manor when the attack started, and the road ahead was eerily empty except for their car. The pursuing vehicle appeared in the rearview mirror, a gun aimed out of the window. "They're shooting at the tires!" the driver shouted, panic in his voice. Lillian's heart pounded as if it would burst from her chest. She pressed her chest, forcing herself to stay calm. "Don't stop! Keep driving to the manor!" Her hands shook as she unlocked her phone and quickly redialed Claude's number. However, nobody answered. Lillian wanted to throw her phone in frustration, but she couldn't afford to lose it now.
