After returning to the castle, Claude went straight to his study as he still had some work to attend to. Lillian was about to draw a bath and do some skincare, but as she was changing, she remembered the necklace in her pocket.
She walked out of the room and found the butler. "Robert, do you know where the jewelry boxes are? I want to put this pearl necklace away."
"I'll get one for you, Madam." A week ago, Lillian would have waited where she was. But not today. She wanted to learn more about the Kent family and the Kent Manor, and through them, more about Claude.
So she smiled and stopped the butler. "Could you tell me where the storage room is? I'd like to choose one myself. After all, I designed this necklace and picked out every pearl."
