The heartbreak on Theo's face was a tad bit more than I could handle. Tears burned my cheeks, and I trembled as his green eyes glassed. I knew the Fates said he'd see me before I was gone forever, but they didn't mention we couldn’t touch.
This royally sucked. No wonder this would be t*****e.
Even though I couldn’t do anything about my situation, maybe I could keep him from breaking the gate. It was sure as hell worth a shot.
