3. The Escape Plan

The news of how a young magician from Culum Kingdom killed one desperado and beat up five others is all over Loncaster Town. All the desperados in town have gathered themselves together in search of the unknown Culum Kingdom magician.

Immediately after the incident between Arman and the desperados, Melan was informed about the attempted attack on his sister. He then went in search of his sister and Arman, luckily for him, he found them on the way while they were heading towards home with fear.

"Nobleglow, Thank Goodness you are safe, I would have killed myself if anything had happened to you," said Melan as he briefly hugs his sister

"Let's quickly head for home so you can explain to me exactly what happened after you guys exited the farm" added Melan

"We can't stay home for a long time, they will come for us and we can't stand a chance," said Aerora with a shivering voice.

"What do you mean by that Nobleglow," said Melan

"Arman accidentally killed one desperado and you know they will come in troops to seek revenge for their lost one" replied Aerora

While the conversation was going on, Arman was still trying to get out of the shock of killing someone. Melan, Aerora, and Arman then quickly raced home to get some of their valuables.

"Brother, I think we don't have to carry anything that will draw attention to our departure," said Aerora

Finally, Arman voiced out for the first time since he saw the corpse of the leading desperado.

"We have to leave this town immediately, I sense a large crowd coming towards us." "It doesn't look like it will end well if we remain here," said Arman

After hearing what Arman had said, Aerora and Malen quickly got up and picked their bags to exit the building. Immediately they opened their door to head out of the town, an arrow hit the door. It was some desperado already waiting for them to come outside the house so they could kill them. Melan quickly used his magic to create a wide shield to guide himself, Arman, and Aerora from the attack of the desperados.

"You have nowhere to run to, we are everywhere in this town and you will never leave this until you pay your sins with your life," said one of the desperados.

"Re ta mo se re mu sha run ta" chanted Melan in a loud voice then hit the ground

Immediately, he passed a shock wave that went in circles and knocked out all the desperados who had already surrounded their house. After seeing all the desperados that surrounded them knocked out, they quickly exited the town but the closest exit to Loncaster town is going outside Prodal Kingdom.

Few minutes after traveling outside Prodal Kingdom through the woods, they arrived at a small village that looked like it was abandoned a long time ago. One of the powers Aerora has aside her healing hand and knowledge of the use of herbs is distinctive hearing.

"I hear footsteps and waving of swords coming from our front and our both sides," said Aerora in a low voice.

"We come in peace, we seek a place of safety and we are ready to do anything that will prevent any harm from here" shouted Melan.

Immediately a large crowd of people came out of every corner of the village. All the people in the village were a combination of citizens of all the four kingdoms in Stronas.

"Hahahaha, there is no safety for any one of you here, bounty has been placed on each one of you's head," said Numa the head of the small village.

An offer that can't be refused have been placed down for anyone who brings the head of the three of you and I hesitate doing it"

A bounty of 200 bars of gold was placed for anyone who finds, kills, and brings the heads of Aerora, her brother, and Arman instantly after Loncaster's desperados found out that they made it out of the town.

"Father, they look harmless and famished and for them to make up their minds to do anything to prevent harm from this village they must have something special to offer". "There are even two magicians amongst them," said Ashr the son to the head of the village

"Swiftblade, am trusting you on this matter once again, if this decision brings harm to this village I will behead you with my own hands," said Numa with a serious face.

"Now take them into that empty hut and give them some water to freshen themselves up, also provide something for them to eat" added Numa as he points to a hut that belongs to a deceased member of the village. The owner of the hut died after losing his five years old son while hunting a long time ago.

Ashr did according to what his father had commanded him to do. He immediately got to like Arman and they started discussing and getting to know themselves better.

Immediately they got into the hut, Arman saw something very familiar to him. It was the bow, arrow, and spear his father normally use to go hunting. That was the exact one he and his father were with the faithful day he fell into the Stream of Truth.

"Who was living here before and do you know the owner of these hunting tools," said Arman as he walks closer to where the instruments were placed to have a clearer view of it.

"My dad used to tell me that it was a strange man that was living here that he lost his son but kept on saying that his son is going to come back to him till his last breath" "My dad also added that he begged him to keep this place intact till his son returns" replied Ashr

"Now you all have to freshen up, I will go and get something for dinner," said Ashr

After some minutes of Ashr leaving them in search of something they would eat for dinner, he returned with roasted meat and few loaves of bread.

"Immediately you all finish eating, you should rest over here, I will come in the morning so I can show you guys around this village," said Ashr

After eating, Arman was not still comfortable, he was just looking at the items he saw earlier and started thinking about how he lost while hunting with his dad. Arman was curious to know about the strange.

They were all safe from the attack of the desperados for a while but the bounty placed on their heads could cause trouble for them in the nearest future.
