I gaze down at Charmaine, her beautiful body wrapped in my arms. We're lost in the moment, our passion for each other burning brighter with every passing second. But even as I savor the feel of her skin against mine, I'm aware of the ticking clock. Soon, she'll be gone, back to Marcus and the life they once shared. The thought is like a punch to the gut, leaving me breathless and aching.
But I push the pain aside, focusing on the present. Charmaine is here with me now, and I'm determined to make the most of our time together. I know she's an independent woman, strong-willed and determined. She deserves my trust and support, no matter what decisions she makes. And so, I give it to her, holding her close and letting my lips wander across her skin.
