I sat at my desk, staring blankly at the papers in front of me. My mind was a million miles away, thinking about Lily and how she was faring in school. I hoped she was doing okay, and that the other kids were being kind to her. But one person in particular was on my mind - that Jenny girl. I had heard rumors that she was being mean to Lily, and it made my blood boil. I made a mental note to talk to Lily's teacher about it, and to make sure that Jenny backed off.
