I sat on the couch, staring blankly at the wall as my mind replayed the events of the past few days. Anna sat down beside me, concern etched on her face. "Hey, girl, what's going on?" she asked, her voice soft. "You've been distant all day. What happened with Luca?"
I sighed, feeling a lump form in my throat. "I snapped at him," I admitted, my voice barely above a whisper. "I told him to never bother me or Lily again." Anna's eyes widened in surprise, but she didn't say anything. Instead, she just nodded and put a comforting arm around my shoulders.
