About two hours pass, and they’re all still in that same room. Waiting eagerly for Lola, the boss, and Leeroy all to leave. “What’s the plan whenever we leave this room?” Aki asks. As soon as he asked that a guard walks into their room. Eric hits him one good time with his wrench, knocking him out cold. They drag the guys body over to the wall and plop him down on the ground then they all go back to the window. They look out of it and notice that all three of them were gone. The boss, Leeroy, and Lola. “Where the hell did they go?” Mandy asks.
They open the door slowly and start to walk out. Gripping onto their weapons with fear. They look around and notice that there’s a door that leads into a red room. They walk over to it slowly and look into the small window that’s on the door. “It looks like the control room.” Mandy says.
They walk into the red lit room and look around. Mandy went towards the books, Aki and Eric went towards the controls. As they all start to read the books and controls, they hear a door start to creak. They all start crouching and walk towards the wall with the door. Eric stands up and peeks slightly out of the window. “There’s a guard with a flashlight.” He says. “We’ll just wait for him to leave before we read anymore but if he comes in here, we’re knocking him out.” He continues.
The guard creeps closer to the door. But he passes it to go into another room. They wait a little bit for him to come back out. “I say we grab him and go ahead and take him out now, so we don’t have to deal with him later.” Eric suggests. They all agree. The guard walks out of the room. As he passes the control room, Eric jumps out and hits him over the head with the wrench while Aki catches him and drags him into the control room. “Okay, so somebody has to watch out for more guards. Eric, what about you? While I read up on these books and Aki looks at all of the controls.” Mandy suggests. They both agree.
Eric takes watch at the door. Mandy is reading some books about what the government has been doing. All while Aki is reading all of the controls. While Mandy is reading, she looks over at the controls and notices that there’s a filing cabinet next to Aki. She walks over and starts taking out files. “Woah, guys. I found some files over here. It has the names of all of the guards and the leaders. It even has their room numbers on the file and a map of the whole place.” Mandy says excitedly.
They start to count how many guards and leaders there were and took note of their room numbers. “So, there are 20 guards. We took out five already so there should be only 15 now. Then it’s the boss, Lola, and possibly Leeroy.” Mandy says. She doesn’t want to believe that Leeroy has been working with them the whole time but that’s what it seems like. Nobody would willingly go out and laugh with the people who captured their friends or their friend’s whole city.
They need a plan. A plan that will kill all of them. But without ruining their city or making a loud ruckus. They think on it for about five minutes. Then Mandy shot up, her eyes full of hope. “I have a plan.” She says. They all gather in a circle listening to her describe what it was. They all go to an agreement.
They all look at the clock that’s in the control room and notice that it’s one in the morning. The leaders and guards all still think that they’re locked up. Mandy takes out the map and starts looking for the clinic. They finally pinpoint it on the map. It’s right across from them. They look out the window just to make sure that nobody is out there. Then they all start crouching and start heading towards the clinic.
They make it half-way there when suddenly they hear someone walking towards them. They freeze and turn around to see who it is. The person gets closer and closer. They’re getting prepared to hit whoever it is and knock them out just like they did the rest of them. But then he speaks. “Hey guys.” He says. It’s Leeroy. They still don’t know whether they can trust him or not, so they keep their distance. “I’m sorry I never came to your rescue. I knew you would get out though. I’ve been listening in on them. I’m trying to figure out what their motive was or is. So far, they’re just doing experiments to figure out how they are able to survive down here. But that’s all I’ve got so far. They won’t tell me a whole lot.” He continues.
They still don’t know if they can trust him or not. The way he was laughing with the boss and Lola. It all looked too real.
