MY NEW LIFE

He was true to his words when he said he was going to give me what ever I wanted, except him.He was really true to that part.

He had never called or even texted me,he always passed his words through his PA,Dave...yh Dave.

We had become good friends, really good friends.He always called me to know how i was fairing, and sometimes joked around.

Daryian had said to change my name to his,and he also said to change schools,though it was really hard as I would miss my buds,but they made me understand that they were only a call away.

I remember their reactions when I told them I was married to the extra ordinary being.Leo almost fainted,Ella had the worst dreamy expression I had ever seen,Lee thought it was impossible.

And when I told them about what he had said in the car that day,they rained cursed on him,and Lee was like"He should be proud to have you as a wife,your one in a billion baby"hahaha he was really smug right there.

We often hung out after school,to be sincere we hung out a whole lot, Sometimes,we ditched school to go out.

I had also changed my phone number cause Aunt Jane would always call me to tell me how ungrateful I was and how she made me who I am or it was either Sarah telling me how I stole her place and threatening to report me to the Diniz family,like,did she really think I was that stupid,if she were to report me to the Diniz family,her family would also be in deep shit.not that I cared if she did anyway,cause even if the Diniz family had decided to throw me out,I had earned enough to sustain my self and two generations to come for a long time.

Everything in my life was good except for Daryian,though my friends had adviced me not to think about him,I had tried to......but it was really hard to do.

Right now I was getting ready for school,and hell I was late as I heard Aunt Vanessa's voice outside the door.

Aunt Vanessa was the chief maid and also the oldest,she was like my grandma,she actually treated me like her granddaughter and I loved her sooooo much.

"i'm coming granny"I loved calling her that, tho she had warned me not to,it felt so right.

I ran down the stairs as I gave her a light peck on the cheek before running to the dinning table to grab two sandwiches ?? before running to the car where the butler (Uncle Mike)stood laughing at Aunt Vanessa's facial expression,I'm sure of that,They were married,a very loving couple and I loved them Soo much.

"Emma plss have breakfast else you'll get skinny"I heard her say and Uncle Mike laughed even harder,I chuckled and then answered "I will granny,but that'll be dinner".

I got into the car where Uncle Mike sat still laughing his guts out.

"you'll be in big trouble,when you get back,hope you know that?"

"yes I do,but for now,I'll enjoy the time I have to laugh my guts out " he answered

And now ,it was my turn to laugh my guts out.

We got to school and I got down from the car.

"Bye, Uncle Mike"I told him

"Bye my dear"he answered

i walked to school,where I saw Jake my friend,here in" the rich kids school",hahaha, that was what me and the buds named it.

Jake:Heey Emma

"yh Jake wudup"

Jake:Well,I'm cool,Uhm Emms"

I gave him a knowing look before answering

"what is it, Jake"

Jake:You know your the best friend anyone can ever ask for.

Thats exactly what he does whenever he needs something from me

"could you just get to the point?"

Jake:uhm,did you do your history home work.

"yes,y"I answered, acting like I didn't know what he wanted

Jake:Damn,Emms

I laughed

"here you go,do not eat me oh yeah Zombie"

Jake:Thankz hunny

"well hurry up"I said

School went well

I was outside the school,at the gate precisely waiting for Uncle Mike to come pick me up.

And when he did he didn't look like his normal cheerful self.

When I asked him what was wrong he said he was fine.

I didn't want to bug him, he'll come around when he was better.

When we got home,i didn't see Aunt Vanessa,she wasn't home.

I went up to shower

I got to my room,to Daryian's room actually,and I caught a different scent,it was mixed with mine,it smelt like tobacco mixed with mint.

it ... it was how it smelt when I first moved in here.

And then it all came rushing back to me.Uncle Mike's gloomy face,the scent ,aunt Vanessa's absence and the scent.

OMG!!Hope it wasn't what I was thinking

I rushed down stairs,this time I saw Aunt Vanessa.

"Granny is...is he back?"

I looked at her expectantly, she seemed worried.

"well hunny,he came back for a document,but now his gone"

Thank goodness,I couldn't face him.

"You don't have to be worried,ok!"

"I'm.. I'm not"I lied, actually I was,I really was,what if,what if,he came back again.

"ok then"I knew she knew I was lieing and I'm glad she didn't pursue it.

"now go shower,Ill call you down,for dinner,when it's ready ok?"

I nodded

I went upstairs,I showered and chatted my buds up,told about my fear of him coming back.

They told me to calm down and everything was going to be alright.

He didn't come back that night,I stayed up,cause I couldn't sleep,

Thought he was going to come at night,won't lie,I really looked forward to him coming back,though he asked me not to expect anything from him,but I couldn't help but miss him.

I felt really stupid the next morning,he didn't come back and I was really tired and slept in all the classes.
