The Girl Who Ran

Chapter 5

Elena

    I couldn't help but cry. I'm turning into a freak! My eyes are turning different colors and I have this dull pain throughout my body. They said I'm turning into something that has never existed before, what will I look like? Will I look like a monster? Will I be a monster? Wait, what are they? Ric was so fast to find me under the bed and catch me when I fainted. 

    I slowly pull the cover down from my face to see him standing in the same spot.

Alaeric

    She brought the cover down from her face and stares into my eyes.

    "What...are you?" She asks.

    I look down and away from her now blue eyes so I wouldn't make her angry if my face showed a shocked expression.

    "I would be...a vampyre." I say in a sadly.

    Her eyes grew big and her bottom lip curled into a whimper as she scooted to the other side of the bed to be farther away from me. She then screams bloody murder.

    Her back arches off the bed as writhes in pain. She was screaming something about her back hurting. Okay, so she wasn't screaming about me being a vampyre but because she is in agonizing pain. I run to the other side of the bed to try and comfort her but she scoots away from me like I was causing her pain.

Elena

    The pain is radiating up my spine to the middle of my back. It was unbearable. Why was he doing this to me? The next thing I know he is next to the bed, before he could reach for me I scoot over to the other side of the bed. I look into his eyes and I see pain in them. No, he is a vampyre. Vampyres don't have feelings. They are evil creatures that kill without any regard. They're pathetic. He's pathetic.

    "You're pathetic." I say sharply.

    He flinches as if I had hurt him by saying those two little words. His eyebrows scrunch together in anger as he yells, "I'll remember that the next time you need saving!"

    "I don't need anyone!" I yell.

    He turns and walks out the door slamming it on his way out.

    The pain in my back begins to fade as this unexplainable hunger grows inside me. There is a quick and sudden pain in my jaw, it hurts so badly I scream for at least a minute. The pain subsides and my hunger grows even stronger. 

    I could smell him.  He smells delicious. I run for the door and see him on the couch. I reach the couch in a matter of seconds and jump on top of his lap. Something hard and sharp slides down from my gums as he looks in confusion. I'm not thinking straight. It's just pure instinct. I lean forward and bite his neck as he screams out in surprise, shock, and pain.    

    His pain seems to last only a second as I suck the blood from his body. Wait, blood? Why am I drinking his blood? Am I a vampyre? Did they turn me into a vampyre? What happened to me? Why can't I remember? 

    I flinch and scream as I feel pain in my neck. He had bitten me back. I was right. The pain only lasts a second. Then it turns into pleasure.

    I start to feel warmth flood my nether regions. This is turning me on. I can feel him under me start to harden.  He is turned on too.

    We stand up as we make our way back to Ric's room.  We are so caught up into the moment that we don't have any idea what we are doing. It just feels so good.
