Sweet Revenge

“How did you manage to track me down?” “I’m doing well, thanks for asking. Are you enjoying your newfound freedom?” Isa finally saw Jace clearly as the light turned on. She noticed a strange smell coming from him and his eyes had a red tint. Something was definitely off. “How were you able to find me?” “It wasn’t easy, I have to admit. It took me a while, but once you came out of hiding, it was simple to follow your scent everywhere you went.” “Well, I should have used a stronger spell against you.” “No spell could stop me anyway. I was specifically trained to counter your magic. It's one of Robert’s top level programs.” Isa paced the room while Jace observed her every move. It had taken him some time to track down Isa, and following her scent proved fruitless. When Robert learned that Isa was still alive, he was not pleased. Jace only survived because of his connection to the royal family. “Are you here to take me back home? Because I have unfinished business here.” “I'm not here to take you home, at least not yet. I've been observing you.” "Fine then. I should be going, I have somewhere to be before sunset." "I don't think so." Jace grabbed Isa's arm, causing her to growl, but he remained unfazed by her attempt to scare him. "What in the world do you..." Isa was caught off guard when Jace forcefully kissed her. Despite knowing she should have pushed him away, this is exactly what she had been searching for. She couldn't resist kissing him back and wrapped her arm around his neck to intensify the moment. Jace seemed surprised that things were now going her way. Isa pulled away from the kiss and removed his shirt before pushing him into the bedroom. He fell onto the bed with a thud and Isa quickly removed her dress, sitting on top of Jace. She leaned down and planted kisses on his neck, causing shivers to run down his body. She continued to kiss her way down until she reached his jeans, which she promptly tugged off. Removing her own underwear, Isa sat back on top of Jace who let out a small moan. After kissing his neck once more, she repositioned herself above him and bit into his neck with her fangs, eliciting a mixture of pain and pleasure from Jace. As they moved together, Isa eventually released him so he could heal before passing out. Realizing she was running late for her meeting with the prince, Isa quickly wiped the blood from her lips and changed into appropriate attire before heading towards the beach. Following Nicolas' scent, she made her way to the restaurant where she spotted him sitting outside with his two bodyguards. Knowing he would not be happy with her being late, Isa snuck around them and aimed a silenced gun at the back of his “You will pay for what you’ve done.” @@@ Isa left her bags by the entrance and stormed through the lobby, exhausted from her long journey. Despite being the daughter of a high king, she still looked like a troublemaker. She finally reached the living room and bumped into her father, Charles. He looked at her in confusion before grunting. "Nice to see you too, Dad." Isa muttered something under her breath, but Charles heard it anyway. He stopped on his way upstairs and turned to face his daughter. He had just returned home himself, after dealing with an incident in South Africa that was difficult to clean up. "Where are you coming from?" "Have you only just noticed I haven't been home this whole time?" Charles raised an eyebrow at her response. Jace had been reporting back to him, assuring that Isa was safe at home the whole time. But Charles should have known better than to trust his assistant's word. Even when she was out of the house, Isa was harmless. "I just got home myself. I hope you've been behaving while I was gone." Isa rolled her eyes as she watched her father walk upstairs, undoubtedly to continue with his kingly duties. Sighing, she sat down in the living room and stared up at the ceiling. She had no idea what she was supposed to do now. “Your grace, there is someone requesting an audience with you.” “If it's Jace, I'd rather not see him.” “I'm afraid it's a queen, your grace.” Groaning, Isa accompanied the butler back downstairs. She took a seat on one of the thrones facing the door and waited. Before she could even see who it was, the queen's voice echoed through the foyer. “I apologize for disturbing you, your grace, but I have a matter that must be discussed with you.” "And you couldn't discuss this matter with my father?" "Your butler informed me that the king does not see anyone without an appointment. However, he said your schedule was free." "It's free for a reason. Why can't..." Lissa and Isa made uncomfortable eye contact. Gone were Lissa's usual Sunday dresses - now she wore a regal gown as the Hybrid Queen. "What is this? Some kind of joke? I need to speak with Princess Dani immediately." Laughing, Isa snapped her fingers and her disguise as Racheal Owens disappeared. "You're Princess Dani? That explains why you had no hesitation in killing the Prince. You knew you could get away with it." "So that's why you're here. I was in your pack following orders. You have no proof that I was ever Racheal Owens or that I was even there at all." "That's why they gave me an empty file. But you won't get away with this." Lissa lunged at Isa, catching her off guard as she plunged a knife into Isa's shoulder. Pinning her to the ground, Lissa twisted the knife. She expected Isa to beg for mercy or plead for her life, but instead she remained emotionless. Frustrated by Isa's lack of reaction, Lissa grabbed onto the knife tightly. But Isa quickly took control and pulled it out of her shoulder, using it to stab Lissa's other hand. As Lissa cried out in pain, Isa flipped her off of her and yanked the knife out of her body. She then threw it into Lissa's leg, causing her to cry out once again. "You will not win this fight, Isabelle. I am two thousand years old, while you are still a baby. Jeremy, please escort Miss Isabelle to the front door and make sure she does not return for a rematch." Dark Princess: 1; Hybrid Queen: 0.
