The Awakening

Episode 2 The Alpha

The date was Jan 1, 2025, and this was the first alpha date launch of the project code name Awakening. It was all over the internet and saw a huge amount of interest, especially from those craving truth and righteousness. A way out they saw it, as then there were those few loud folks that saw the app as a threat.

They would seek to destroy its success. Those in power wanted to stay in power, of course, and they had an influence on the extreme left. They drugged up the depraved minions that would counteract this potential good in every way they could, and boy are they powerful and disgusting.

The alpha on day one had 20k downloads and was quickly gaining, seeing popular reviews and phrases as it was changing people's lives. They were getting out, meeting people, getting good connections, meeting their significant others, and more. They shared their experience and over the next week, the app went viral.

Seeing 2.5 million downloads across the world is no small feat for an unknown company with an outrageous app. Then the attacks came as the app was gaining traction. D DOS attacks media hit pieces trolls you name it they were relentless as this was not going their way. It only made the app grow quicker despite their attacks and by the end of January the app had 100 million users participating in all kinds of tasks.

The growth meant they would need more content contributors and more of a defined path to guide their users besides generally bettering humanity. They needed a portion of humanity to unite and spread humanity's empire.

To understand this, they had to define their empire. What would the actors be, what would they believe in, where they would come from, and how they would interact with the rest of humanity? What would their timeline be? The group that created the app steered the direction of generally right-wing conservative capitalism and ever-expanding with a good dose of freedom injected while seeing a cultural shift towards having more babies and having stable family units with a father, some mothers, and many children.

Fathers are the providers and heads of houses and the mothers are the caregivers and teachers of the young and the elderly, passing along their knowledge to the young. The older young people help with the rearing of the younger kids. All learning to grow food code problem solve think for themselves lead by example extra. Many would rise up because they have a sense of direction that keeps them going in life.

Word was getting out that revenue started pouring in. They would need investments and tax relief as they didn't want to look suspicious to the governments at that time. So began the Alt Earth Movement, where they would buy earthly assets like farms, mines, forests, oil-rich land, and more, and then put the people using the app to work developing and using this land that they occupied. New great cities will arise as a result in the future. Food would no longer be scarce among the users as there would be little wasted and vertical farming and 3d printed lab-grown edible tissues would solve a lot of the land and water usage for the foreseeable future.

Big investments would be made in near-earth object exploitation, exploration, and habitation, as the earth is not enough. Also, floating on water cities and blimp towns help launch payloads into space by eliminating the majority of the atmosphere from rockets assent into the heavens. A dirigible network is established on Earth that sees payloads of every size being delivered to every corner of the Earth for a fraction of the price of traditional means.

By year's end, the company would see upgrades to the alpha and many new faces in the company eager to share their ideas and skills to better the company. Oh, there would be some people that are not entirely wholesome and some that are downright evil trying to infiltrate and downright negate the endeavors of the company, but for the most part, they were quickly discovered and let go and any harm was quickly righted. At this time, 2.5 billion people had downloaded the app and concurrently, at any given time, 100 million users.

They now had all they needed to take it to the next stage. The world was changing, for the better, with fewer wars. The MSM lost all their lives. The news wasn't depressing. Any more wealth was easy to come by, a good education was easy to come by, a good job was easy to come by, everyone had become satisfied by the app and now they turned their attention to the future.

They had unknowingly created a global community under their direction and it wanted anti-human. It was a pro-life, pro-human empire, pro-family, and anti-war among species. They had under their belt everything from water collection to banks and beyond and now they needed to look outwards and inward as they didn't want to grow stagnant and docile from too much peace. There were, of course, outliers in the system that still sought to destroy them. They had been in power for far too long to allow this new upstart to change the world in a few short years.
