Morning came and slight banging was heard from the front door. She was a young girl named Lisy. Same age as Arthour, she was a beautiful and elegant young lady from a noble's family.
Arthour's mother Leona opened the door and bent down to look at the cute little Lisy.
"Ohhh, isn't it little Lisy? Come inside, Would you like to eat breakfast with Arthour? After that, you can head to the academy."
Leona said while looking towards the cute little girl.
Lisy was a classmate and the neighbour of the Arthour.
they were very close to each other because their husband used to work at the same place.
"Thank you, Aunt Leona, but I'll have to refuse that offer. Also, please convey to Arthour to get dressed soon so we will not be late."
Lisy responded with a smile.
Arthour though had already gotten ready and started head downstairs to see Lisy, after a few minutes later they said goodbyes to arthour mother and started to head towards the academy.
While walking together, Lisy asks Arthour "Brother Arthour you look quite tired, did you get enough sleep?"
"No, I have slept enough. But I don't know why I'm feeling this tired…" Arthour Said
,
The Distance from Fiora City and their Academy was roughly 20 minutes.
After 10 minutes of walking, they spotted the huge ruins. Nobody dared to go near those ruins because of the rumours and the fear of the Royal Family.
"Hey Arthour, Is what Nora said about that Vampire true? Did you ask Aunty Leona? Lisy asked curiously.
"No, my mother told me that vampires do not exist anymore. They were annihilated during the Great War 10,000 years ago.
But I'm going to go check those ruins. Otherwise, I won't be able to sleep tonight!"
arthour replied he made up his mind already that he is going to explore those ruins.
"Are you crazy?" Lisy said in a scared voice.
"You don't have to do that. Brother Arthour, those ruins are a very dangerous place. We should never try to go there." She continued in a timid voice.
.....
"Hey Lisy, You Wait Outside The Ruins," Arthour Told Lisy "I Will We Right Back!"
After saying that he rushed where the ruins were situated.
The structure of these ruins had mostly been destroyed. Two pillars were situated at the entrance, although they had mostly fallen apart. The ruins seemed quite long. People usually go for exploration but come back empty-handed. These ruins were shrouded in mystery, from the origin to the purpose.
….
Meanwhile, Lisy was very nervous and scared waiting at the entrance.
"What Should I Do???" she whispered.
….
In the ruins,
A castle-like place was destroyed by war and time. Shrouded in mystery had made Arthour bring out the curious child in him. He kept looking through the structure tying to find the answers to his questions.
Arthour saw a destroyed structure of what seemed to him a very 'mighty' statue.
"My father told me that nobody knows the origin of these ruins...They are the remnants of the old kingdom which existed in the Old Era yet no one knows anything about it." Arthour thought to himself.
'Alright, let's find those damn vampires! Hmm, going deeper towards that deserted castle will give some sort of clue.' He thought as he started going even deeper towards the castle.
….
Lisy was standing outside the ruins, worried when she heard a familiar voice behind her.
"What are you doing here Lisy?
"
Lisy's face became pale looking at her mother, Ana. Some neatly packed lunches were in her arms as she asked why Lisy was here and where Arthour was.
"Mother, brother Arthour has gone into the ruins to search for the origin of the vampire…"
Lisy responded to her mother.
"WHAT?!!!" Ana was shocked was an understatement. She was horrified. She quickly asked Lisy to go to Leona's house to tell her that Arthour had entered the ruins. Ana herself contacted Lisy's father and Arthour's father.
The two families had been very close ever since Leon's husband and Ana's husband worked together as knights for the Fiora city lord.
so ana was familiar with the workplace of her husbands and arthours father.
Lisy quickly runs towards Leona's house while Ana went to the city lord's mansion to contact her husband and Leywin, Arthour's father.
Meanwhile in the ruins,
Arthour was running towards the deeper part of the destroyed castle.
