Denera I stirred from my slumber, the sounds of birds chirping outside filtering through the hazy fog of my consciousness. As the sun's rays peeked through a small opening in the curtains, the bright light met my eyes, causing me to frown and blink rapidly. Slowly, I opened my eyes, greeted by the familiar surroundings of the bedroom. However, as I came more fully awake, I realized that my body was not feeling its usual self. A dull, persistent ache throbbed in my head, and my limbs felt heavy and sore. Despite the discomfort, a big, content smile spread across my lips.
