Chapter 64: A Miraculous Awakening
Lucas scribbled notes in his anatomy class when his phone buzzed. He glanced at the text from the nursehe had paid to look after Sofia and to give him updates about her health.
"Sofia's awake! Come quickly." The message read. Lucas's heart skipped a beat. He hastily gathered his belongings and excused himself.
Lucas had returned to school yesterday's evening. His purpose for visiting home had been achieved so there was no use staying there. More so his first year exams was approaching and he had to ace the exams or he will be demoted to another department. It was the rule in Spring Well Medical school.
The chairman was out on his official duty when Lucas left. He had informed the housekeeper to relate the information to the chairman when he returned.
