Chapter 67: Desperate Pursuit
The kidnappers, sensing something amiss, panicked.
"Pull over!" one yelled but Dax feigned compliance. He increased his speed, his eyes fixed on the rearview mirror. Lucas struggled at the back seat, the effect of the sedative had weaken. He was still groggy from the Chloroform.
The kidnappers, seemingly subdued, exchanged sly glances. One of them made a sudden move by grabbing the steering wheel. Dax's grip tightened. He struggled to maintain his control and power over the wheels but the kidnapper's strength surprised him.
