The Examination Malpractice Committee convened, its ten members seated solemnly. Lucas's coach, Professor Simmons, joined the panel, his expression stern. Lucas stood before them, his eyes fixed on the accusing faces. It was a ten- man committee, all sitted and ready to give their verdict. Professor Wilson, the invigilator, adjusted his glasses, scrutinizing Lucas. Dean Thompson, committee chair, folded his arms, expectant. Professor Patel, a stern expression, pen poised. Dr. Lee, glasses perched on the end of her nose, eyes narrowing. Professor Simmons, Lucas' coach, disappointment etched on his face.
