Sofia's mother, Ms Ariana signed the hospital release papers, her eyes fixed on her daughter. She was dressed in a fitted, red dress that hugged her curves, its neckline plunging deeper than necessary for a hospital visit. Her raven hair cascaded down her back in effortless waves, complemented by expertly applied makeup.
The scent of her spritzed perfume, filled the air. Her sliver silhouette heels elevated her height as well as confidence. The overall effect was stunning compared to the contrast dressing of her daughter.
"Are we going home?" Sofia asked faintly, clutching to her chest, the Teddy Lucas had given to her during his last visit.
"I'm sending you back to school," Ariana replied with a stern voice while her hands scribbled her signature.
