She finds peace in her Boss CEO

Today is 23rd October 2019 the day I'm to resume as a designer at The pearls cartels enterprise. I wake up feeling rather acceptant of my horrible night,I try not to dwell on it too much cause I have a serious day ahead,so I head to the bathroom after that I get dressed.As a corporate firm you're expected to dress cooperate which isn't much of a problem for me cause cooperate outfits are my go to... I'll be putting on a cream colored cooperate pants,a white cooperate T-shirt and a black loafers,I stared at the mirror I wished so much that my dad could see me right now, he'd be way happier that I am he'd go 'Meg my darling I'm so proud of you' he was always at the front lines when it comes to my affairs,I almost killed myself when I lost him till Anna came along, she's like the light in my dark tunnel. Speaking of Anna her call just came in,'hey baby... it's your first day at work and I wish you the very best I can bring you lunch at work if you want'. that's fine Anna maybe you can come over for dinner instead when I get off work 'ok my love I'll call you by 7 you should be home by then right?' yes I should.' alright the byeeee'. "pim" the call ends.

At the company, I'm called into the secretary's office I learned that the boss is barely around so the secretary carries out most of the tasks of the boss. I walk into the office and I see a very pretty young lady she looks like she's in her late 20's,I greet but it seems like she didn't quite hear me so I greet again that when she says 'i heard you the first time' I'm surprised but I guess it's a busy day,if I had to do the job of two for the pay of one I'd definitely be cranky so I'll give her a pass. I introduced myself I'm megeret Thomas the new designer. she didn't even spare me a glance,I went further I'm supposed to be assigned to my office today then she said it's on the the first turn by the left I nodded and left confused,I mean isn't she supposed to introduce me or something?? I guess the standards are different here,I got to the designers office I was so excited , everyone looked so serious and busy just like I expected,I mean it's Pearls cartels enterprise i expect nothing less of perfection.I walked in and headed to the only free desk and surprisingly it had my name on it and it was next to a guy he had neat curls a sharp jawline,brown perfect eyes and a nice smile too cause he just smiled that me and guess who smiled right back me. I'm here to work not stare at guys who look like they walked out of a magazine....'hey' he said to me, 'hi' i responded while settling down I dropped my designs on the desk and sat down,while I was just about to get comfortable the secretary walked in the sound of her hills made the whole office go quiet and that left me wondering if the secretary can be so feared I wonder how scary the actual CEO would be, he'd probably be a walking monster... I was brought back from my thoughts by her introduction ' you have a new designer amongst you she starts today,I suggest that you all work hand in hand and you can also learn a few things from her. then she leaves is she trying to make me a target or what??. i turned around to look at Mr handsome and he still had that smile on his face so I knew we were good...

I just got back from my break with a coffee when I saw everyone in a rush as though a king was coming that when I over heard some colleagues whispering something about the CEO being here but from what I read in my research the CEO comes once in 5 months because of his very busy schedule so hearing that he is here today then it's got to be serious,well I plan on being as invisible as possible cause I can't be getting into trouble on my first day.While everyone is running around like their heads are on fire I will be seated out of sight.i hear footsteps coming this way from the sound of it I know it's a lot of people coming at once, I'm too frightening to even look through the window and lucky they pass right past our off straight to the CEO's office I can tell that he was amongst those uniformed men I could see the secretary trying to keep up. soon everywhere goes quiet again like it was before... finally some peace, I'm curious so I ask the magazine guy for his name,' uhmm I'm Margaret and you are? he responds ' I'm jade ' 'nice to meet you jade'i say with a smile i also ask for the name of the secretary found out her name is Tessa,I try to start creating a new design while enjoying the peace when Tessa walks in yelling my name I'm in complete shock,she walks towards me with disgust and I stand up waiting in anticipation to hear what I've done 'The CEO wants you to report to the office now' 'what me ??' i could the irritation all over her face while she walks out wondering what I could have done to deserve his audience,I don't waste a second more jade whispers good luck, thank you I respond cause I'll need it. I walk towards the office and I open the door it's so huge and beautifully painted in white and indigo,I walk towards the desk,the chair is faced back wards so I coughed to express my presence and it seems to have worked cause the chair is turned towards me and I receive the biggest shock yet the CEO is a woman not just any woman the same woman I met on the day of my interview,if that's not shocking I don't know what is,i have a lot to tell Anna cause what do you mean the CEO of the biggest jewelry company is a woman ,this discovery got me weak and like she could see through me she asks me to take a seat which I do and then she proceeds to stare into my soul but sometimes about her gives power, elegance and control,like I want to be a good girl for her so bad but I can't be having those kinds of thoughts not here at least... she gets me out of my thoughts by telling me that I would become her assistant with out any questions asked 'you're new position is as my personal assistant, you'll be getting a desk in my office ' ' wait what!!?' but I already got the designer position what do I need an assistant position for I mean I'm very much comfortable.she didn't even say a word to me,she made a call and next thing I knew I say men in black tuxes coming in with a desk and a chair it was way bigger and prettier than the one at my previous office.i'm left speechless I finally ask ' does my opinion even matter ' I get a harsh answer in response ' No!' I was so mad but there's nothing I could do.

The time is 7:20 I just home work ends by 5 but I'm on the road for at least 2 hours and that's just exhausting, I'll have to find a place closer to the office,ok not necessarily closer but it has to be in town so I don't have to stay on the road for 2 hours,I check my phone and I see 3 missed calls from Anna that's when I remembered that we were supposed to meet for dinner by 7,I call her 'hey princess,how are you? I'm so sorry I missed your call I just got home' ' I called for so long I almost came over I was so worried ' she says in a sad puppy tone,then I try explaining that I had a long drive from work that's why and I asked if we could reschedule for weekend,she agrees reluctantly but it's something, 'you'd never believe what happened at work today' she goes 'tell me tell me telllll mmmmeeeee' I could taste the excitement I ask her to calm down first when she tries to do ok so at work I was getting settled in the designers department when the mean secretary walks in and tells me that the CEO wants to see me and I'm just there looking wondering why in heaven's name the CEO would be looking for a new employee but I dare not ask any questions so i walk straight to the office, you'll never believe what I saw ...was he naked??? of cause not Anna ewww I received the biggest shock ever cause the CEO isn't even a man ....then what is it? a robot? what tell me... you've got to stop interrupting if you want to find out ...yes ma'am...good ,so it's a woman a really sexy woman ,a woman who's presence commands power....wait what?!! I know right I was just as shocked as you are I almost fell when I saw her she looked perfect,she had pure blue yes, shoulder length piano hair,a sharp jawline,pink lips,a perfectly shaped eye brows her facials were perfect so perfect that I almost got lost staring, don't even get me started on her voice...wait wait wait don't tell me you're falling for your boss on the first day meg, of course not that's me denying it straight up anyway I haven't even told you the second tea yet alright continue ok so she tells me that I'd be her new assistant and I find that really weird cause why me???my thoughts are maybe she's trying to get back at me for bumping into her.... you've seen her before?? yes I have on the day of my interview I bumped into her but she seemed nice and so was I...oh boy that explains it,I wish you luck though, just try to redeem maybe you'd even like that position better plus the pay will be massive I mean you're like her hand bag now...but remember,you can always quit.thanks for listening like you always do,I need to get some rest ,see you by weekend...ok my love bye. she's wrong I can't always quit I need this job I need to live a normal life,I haven't had an actual job since I became an adult and what kind of adult does that make me.A bad one.
