Brandon's POV

After mother and daughter moment, my Rose came to meet me by the pool, where I was thinking about Mr Blake demise, what could have caused the accident. I gave her a small smile to encourage her she only nodded her head and sat beside me by the pool and dipped her leg into the water. She looked at me and said, My dad died because of me. I quickly shut her up, thats not true. She then narrated the story her mum told her. She said he was rushing home to meet her because he wanted to make today special for her, that ever since I told her I wasn't going to make it for her birthday, she had been unhappy and moody, that her father went to the extent of taking the day off but he want granted. So he went to the mall to get her a gift on his way back he wasn't paying attention to the fast moving vehicle, so the drunk driver vehicle hit him. There were not any passerby at that moment to call 911, so the ambulance got there late by that time he had list a lot of blood, they tried saving him went they got to the hospital but it was too late, Rose mum was there all along because she worked at the hospital, she was too distraught to call Rose thats why she was informed by her mum's colleague.

When she finished she showed me a beautiful necklace that had a rose a pendant, she said it was his gift to her that she would forever cherish it, so I helped her put it on.

she was quiet onwards, I asked her what she would eat, but she declined. so I took her to my room helped her get in the bathroom to take a shower, when she was in the shower I got her one of my T-shirt and boxers.

Rose's POV

After Brad and his dad left, my mum and I cried for what felt like hours, until I stopped and asked her what happened, she said he was rushing home, coming from the mall where he went to get a gift for me, when he got hit by a drunk driver, he was unlucky because there was no passerby at that moment to call 911, so by the time the ambulance came he lost a lot of blood, she was in the hospital when she heard there was an emergency , on getting there she saw her husband looking pale, unconscious and was bleeding, she couldnt handle the case so another doctor took over. Not longer after the doctor came out and told her that he was gone, she burst into tears and was dumbfounded, she didnt know what to say to me that's why she asked the doctor to call me, when she was done she said she didnt blame me, that she loves me still, that I was her world, she would do anything to protect me. I was shaken by what she said I could only nod. she also gave me the gift my my dad got for me.

We were quite for a little while before Brad's dad showed up, he nodded at me and went to my mother, I stood up and went to meet Brad by the pool.

When I got there, I noticed there was something off with him, but I didnt want to press him, I knew he would tell me when the time is right. He smiled at me and I nodded.

I sat beside him and dipped my leg in the pool. The minute I blurted out My dad died because of me . He quickly shut me up and I explained everything my mum told me to him.

I showed him the necklace my dad got for me and he helped me put it on.

So after on he asked what I wanted to eat I told him I was OK, he then led me to his room and directed me toward the bathroom. By the time I left the shower he was not in the room. I saw that he left me a T shirt and a boxer, I quickly put it on, immediately my head hit the pillow I sleep consumed me.
