Episode Eight

Rose's POV

College was going well, I made more friends, technically I became friends with Luke friends. The relationship between Brad and I was better we only greet each other, but we don't hang out, mainly because am out most of the time, I only come back to the room to sleep. Don't blame me I have to move on from that stupid feelings. There are certain times he tried to bring up a conversation I just look for an excuse to escape the conversation and so far its been going good and in a few day he is going to be graduating and his dad is coming and definitely my mum is going to come. No one at home is aware about our distancing, and I intend to keep it that way and did I mention I am about to enter my second year too, am excited, we done with our exams.

The day of Brad's convocation came my mum came together with his dad, we watched him collect his degree he also received an award for over all vest student, oh! I forgot to mention he is very intelligent, I didnt have issues with mathematics back in the days, because he was always there to put me through. When he came down from the podium, my mom stood up to hug him and congratulate him, his mother didnt bother to show her face, since Brad and i relationship has not been great I don't know if he is in touch with her and I don't intend to pry in his personal affairs. His father pat him on the back and said he was proud of him and that he would soon be taking over his business, his dad motioned for me to move closer, I just stood there like a lost puppy.

It was Brad who covered the distance between us and gave me a bone crushing hug, I almost forgot how i feel so warm and safe in his arms, and he did something unexpected he pecked me on my forehead and let his lips linger a little bit, I blushed deep red. My mum cleared her throat and said won't I congratulate him, I smiled and said congratulations boo boo bear.His eyes lit up like a Christmas tree, he replied thank you My sweet Rose, I just nodded. My mum made sure he took a lot of pictures with us, and a few of his friends.

When everything ended it was towards evening, his dad decided to treat us to dinner in a 5 star restaurant and he said he and my mum has good news to share with Brad and I. When we got there I was awed by the decor, I have only been to a 5 star restaurant like this about 5 times, when we sat down the waiter came and took our order, in the process of waiting for our food. My mum broke the news and said she and Mike were dating and she didnt want me to hate her, that she would end things with him if I wasn't cool with it. I squinted my eyes all through, when she was saying all that, then I smiled and hugged her. I told her I love her and am happy for her and Mike that, she deserve to move on and dad would totally be in support of it. Mike nodded at me, I then looked to Brad to see his reaction, it was blank. He just smiled to my mum and me. He told his dad it was a good thing that my mum was a good woman.

After dinner, Mike and my mum headed back home, so Brad and I walked back to the dorm since it was close by. We were quiet through out the walk when we entered our room, I was about to go to my side of the room when I heard him curse "f**k it" he then dragged my hand and spin me around to face him, he then crashed his lips on mine, I didnt give in at first, its my first time, I have not kissed any boy before,and I was shocked as well, before I started to respond and wove my hand in his hair. God he tasted heavenly after that wine he had at dinner.

By the time we stopped we were breathing heavily. He then pecked my lips and told me good night, before he went to the bathroom to do his business. I was still standing there stunned, feeling like it was a dream I had to pinch my cheeks really hard to make sure I was not dreaming.

I was tired and didnt have the strength to take my bath, I just changed my cloth to my night wear, I made sure I wore something sexy and lied on my bed, not long after I felt his presence at my back he pecked my neck and cuddled next to me on my bed, God I have so missed the days we used to cuddle each other to sleep. I yawned and fell asleep hearing his voice saying a light Good night sweet Rose.
