Chapter ten

Dylan's pov; I woke up to feel a weight on me. I opened my eyes to see Courtney peacefully sleeping. She looks so cute when she's sleeping. I try to move her without waking her up, but it failed. "Ughhh." She moaned, causing me to laugh. "What time is it?" She asked. "Half 9." I replied. "Half 9?!" She shrieked and jumped out of bed. "We're gonna be so late for school!" She shouted. "We're not going to school." I simply replied. "What?" She stopped and stared at me quizzically. "I called in sick for both of us. And I let Ellie know you're not going in." I told her. "You did what?" She raised her voice! "Courtney you were nearly r***d last night! I hardly think you're in a fit state to go to school today! Plus you've got English with that t**t!" I raised my voice as well. "Well that wasn't your choice to make for me Dylan! This is my education were talking about here!" She ran a hand through her hair. "Sorry. I just thought it was the right thing to do. I'm just trying to take care of you." I sighed and sat back down on the couch. Courtney walked over and sat next to me. She sighed. "Look I'm sorry for freaking out at you like that. I understand you had good intentions, and I shouldn't have shouted at you." She stared into my brown eyes. I smiled and kissed her lightly. I realised what I was doing and quickly pulled away. It's not that I didn't want to kiss her, because I really did, I just didn't want to rush things, and she did nearly get r***d last night. "Sorry. I shouldn't have done that, I don't want you to feel like you're forced to do anything you don't want to do." I said truthfully. She smiled at me. "Every time you kiss me, you apologise after, and then say you shouldn't have done it." She said and her face gets closer to mine. "Maybe you should have done it." She says and closes the space between us, crashing her lips onto mine. I was taken aback by her actions, but quickly recovered and kissed her back. I think I'm falling for her. We pulled apart, and I grinned at her. "What are you grinning about?" She asked smiling. "I'm thinking we order pizza for breakfast." I say, and I see her smile turn into a grin. "I say we do that too." She replies. *********************** Courtney's pov; We had eaten all of our pizza and we were laying on the couch cuddling, and watching That Awkward Moment. "You only wanted to watch this because it has Zac Efron in it didn't you?" Dylan turns and says to me. "Pfft no." I simply say and grin. "I knew it." He grins back. "I'm hotter than Zac." He says to me, and I raise my eyebrow. "Oh really?" I challenge him. "Yes." He insists. "I don't think so." I said, still grinning at him. "I dare you to say that again." He playfully smirks. "Zac Efron is way more hotter than you." I whisper into his ear, and I see a smirk form onto his beautifully sculptured face. Suddenly, he picks me up and hangs me upside down over his shoulder. "Dylan put me down!" I say though giggles. "Not until you admit I'm hotter than Zac." He smirks. "Never." I simply say and grin. "Wrong answer." He grins and carries me up the stairs to his bedroom. It brings back memories from when Shawn led me to his bedroom just last night, but I shook the awful memories away, not letting them ruin this perfect moment. When we got to his room, he threw me onto the bed, and sat on top of me. "I'm not moving until you admit I'm hotter." He says and stares at me. "Well I'm not admitting it." I smirk. "Fine. Get crushed by my weight then." He smirks back. "I'll just have to tickle it out of you then." He grins. "Don't you dare." I warn him, but grin to let him know it wasn't a threat. He started tickling my sides which made me squeal and laugh. "Dylan!" I scream whilst laughing. "Stop!" I say, and he stops. "Did I hurt you?" He said concerned. "No you plonker." I grin. "Plonker?" He says confused. "British thing." I simply replied. "That explains why it's so weird." He smirks. "Now admit it or I'll tickle you again." He playfully threatens. I didn't want to get tickled again, so I gave in. "Fine. You're hotter than Zac Efron." I say and he smirks. "I know I am." He says and leans in to kiss me. Just then my phone vibrates making us jump. It was Ellie of course. Thanks for ruining the moment;) From: Ellie<3; Hey hoe! Hope you're having fun at Dylansthere's a party again this Saturday if you wanna come? You can bring a hot datelove ya<3 I looked over to see Dylan reading my text. "Sorry. I was just interested." He shrugged. I smiled. "It's fine love. Are you going to the party?" I ask him, and he raises his eyebrows. "Are you asking me to be your 'hot date' Williams?" He smirks. My eyes shoot wide open as I just realised what I've implied. "Oh, no! I was just asking if you were going to the party, I wasn't going to ask you to be my date, why would you want to be my date? I mean you can be any ones in the word, why would you wanna be mine, an-" I babbled on till Dylan cut me off. "I'd love to be your date." He smirked. ********************* The week flew by, and it was already Saturday. My mum thought I went to school when I was at Dylan's because he dropped me home the normal time I would be home if I went to school. I didn't like lying to my mum, but she would flip s**t if I told her I skipped school and stayed with Dylan all day. I decided not to tell her about Shawn because she would also flip s**t about that, and she most likely wouldn't let me out again. I went shopping with Ellie yesterday for party clothes, and I bought a little black dress that ended just above my knees. It had long sleeves, and the back was cut out. It wasn't too short, but it wasn't too long. It was perfect. I wore the black heels Ellie leant me ages ago. She didn't need them back as they didn't even fit her, so I'm sure she wouldn't mind if I kept them. Dylan insisted on picking me up, which was fine with me, because i had already drove my car to school a couple of times this week anyway, plus I wanted to drink. I grabbed my jacket and headed downstairs. "Mum I'm going out now, if I don't come back home it's because I'm staying round a friends." I told her. "Okay love. Let me know you're safe though. Have fun." She gave me a kiss on the cheek, and I walked out the door. I saw Dylan's jeep parked up, so I opened the door and got in. He was wearing black skinny jeans, a tight white polo t-shirt, and black nikes. He looked so freaking hot. I looked him up and down because I just couldn't help myself. "Like what you see Williams?" He smirked at me, and started the car. I blushed and tore my eyes away from his perfect body. "Sorry." I mumbled. "You just look really good." I said, and I swore my cheeks were on fire. "Thanks. You look gorgeous as well." He said and I smiled. When we arrived at the party, everyone was smashed already. We had got there an hour after the party started, because we both didn't like to be early to parties. I hopped out the car, and Dylan intertwined our fingers. This made me smile. He led me into the house and made a beeline for the drinks. He knows. He handed me a beer, and then got one for himself. "Don't leave your drink unattended okay?" He looked directly at me. "You never know what weirdos are around, who could spike it." I nodded. I saw Ellie, Oli, Josh and Alex come over to us. "COURTNEY!" Josh and Alex screamed and practically jumped on me. "Hey you two!" I laughed and hugged them. "Hey Courtney." Oli said and hugged me. Then he held out his hand and we did our little handshake. "Best till last." Ellie smirked and and hugged me. "Dylan." Ellie smirked at him. "Little red." Dylan smirked back. She rolled her eyes at him. "I'm gonna go dance, you coming Courtney?" She asked me. I looked at Dylan, and I could tell by his facial expressions that he didn't wanna dance. "Um I'll be there in a bit." I smiled at her. "Okay love. Come on Oli." She said to Oli, and he grabbed her hand and they disappeared into the dance floor. "Me and Josh are gonna go find some pretty girls." Alex said, and Josh nodded and they also disappeared. "You know." I turned to Dylan. "I'm getting once dance out of you tonight." I smirked at him. "Ugh really?" He groaned. Just then s*x by The 1975 came on. Dylan looked at me, because he knew this was my favourite song. "Pweaseeee." I batted my eyelids at him. "Fineeee." He rolled his eyes. "One dance and that's it." I grinned and grabbed his hand. He followed me and we danced. He grabbed my waist and we started moving in time to the music. It was magical. I had completely forgotten that everyone else was around us. Right now all the mattered was the moment. And all I knew at this moment, was one thing. I was falling for Dylan O Brien. The song finished, and Dylan was still staring at me. "I'm going to get a drink, you want one?" He asked. I nodded and followed him. He got me a drink, and turned to me. "I'm just going to the loo, I'll be 2 seconds, wait here okay?" He said and I nodded. I put my drink down, and turned around to check my phone. No texts or missed calls. Thank god. I thought to myself. I slipped my phone back into my pocket, and picked my drink up again. I had a sip, and it tasted different. It tasted better. Before I could give it another thought I saw Dylan come back. "Miss me?" He smirked. "Yeah course." I smirked back. ********************** 3 hours later we were still partying, and I had only had about 3 beers. I was grinding against Dylan on the dance floor. "You." I slurred. "Are so frickin sexy." I smirked. "How many beers have you had?" He asked me. I held up 3 fingers, and he looked really mad. "3? Is that it? You can't be drunk on 3 beers." He stated. "I'm not drunk." I slurred. "Come on, we're leaving." He grabbed my hand and tried to pull me away." "Noooooo, I wanna dance foreverrr!" I giggled. I was too weak to fight him, so he ended up pulling me out of the party. "Jesus Christ Courtney. Someone's obviously spiked your drink." Dylan raised his voice. "Shhhhhh." I put my finger against his lips. "Be quiet." All of a sudden everything went black.
