Josh and the members of our team were kicking off the party, as Celeste and I made our way into the kitchen. As I looked at her, and took in her smiling face as she watched Josh, I felt my heart swell with pride. To me, she was perfect! She was smart, she was beautiful inside and out, and now she was my wife! I watched her as she laughed and interacted with my team mates and their wives. They were all strangers to her, and she was interacting with them as though they were old friends. As she interacted with them, I noticed a few of them look my way, and nod their approval to me, letting me know they liked her! Their approval meant a lot to me. It showed me they would look upon her as one of their own, and that meant more protection for Celeste in the long run.
