Nowadays, I don’t do much. That sentence used to bother me more than it does now. Some days it still stings a little, especially when I remember who I used to be. The girl ripping through back roads on a quad at midnight. The girl climbing fences, skateboarding for hours, walking forests for no reason except freedom itself. Loud music. Loud engines. Loud life. Now my days are quiet. Not peaceful quiet all the time either. Just…still. Most things I physically can’t do anymore, and the things I can do are limited.
