MAX POV
I drove from Sophia's studio back to my house feeling totally downcast. I did not want to think about the day's trouble because my head was spinning already. I already could perceive Scarlett’s perfume when I walked in. Which indicated she was around.
I immediately thought of quickly freshening up so I could have some good s*x to lift my mood. On getting closer to the bedroom door, I began to hear Scarlett's voice very loud from the room. It seems she was arguing with someone.
I walked to the door, attempting to burst it open and catch the person inside with Scarlett, but surprisingly, it dawned on me that it was just a phone conversation and no one was in there with her. A bit relaxed, I overlooked everything, wanting to just go inside the room and have a cool wash.
