The incident that went down at Sophia's party was a situation I found utterly ridiculous. I still couldn't wrap my head around the idea that Maxwell could put himself back together for a launch of his own. I mean, I made sure he was at the end of the rope and left with no options at all.
I made sure all of his investors pulled out every funding he'd been supported with, so what then was this sudden show out of nowhere?
Something did not add up. Someone was playing a game with Sophia and I, and it wasn't one I wanted to indulge in for Sophia's safety. But if they left me no choice, I guess it wouldn't do anyone harm to want to be several steps ahead.
