He couldn’t care less about his clothes. He’d not been able to save face in public. It was this fact that grated on him. Charlotte wouldn’t stand for any nonsense, such was her temperament. It was one of the few things that attracted him to her all those years ago. Now, he’d been on the receiving end of her wrath, and he knew the worst was to come.
