CHAPTER 8Lumina fell asleep and left her body, travelling on the moonrays. When she got to Swanshore, she found the general asleep in his bed. She asked permission to enter his dreams and followed the familiar tug into his head. When she’d moved past the three layers of his mind, she descended into the glowing orb beneath her. The general was dreaming about the vampire in his room, who was shapeshifting into Lumina’s form, and was having a shouting match with him. “General?” she said as she landed. He stopped shouting and turned to face her.
