New Beginnings

Introduction

Hi, my name is Storm Winters, and I’m 13 years old. As far as I can remember, I always lived at Safe Havens Orphanage. I was told by sister Nadine that they had found me on their front doorsteps one stormy night. That is how I got my name Storm.

As I saw the other children around me, from infants to 12 years of age, being placed in foster care families or adopted by families over the years that I have been here. I felt like there was something wrong with me.

Enough of the sappy background of my life. Here are some of my likes and dislikes:

My Likes

I love to read, being surrounded by nature, strawberries, volunteering, listening to the rain, experiencing new and different things. You know the norm for a typical teenage girl stuff.

My dislikes

All kinds of conflict, disablism, bullying, injustice, bugs they just ick me out, chores, I don’t like really scary movies, gym class and seeing other people fighting over dumb things.

I don’t know who my parents are or what they look like if you’re wondering if I want to meet them one day. Hell no what parent leaves a poor defenseless baby on a stranger's doorstep in the god forsaken woods.
