Chapter 2 Act separately

Alan tried to push the wall again, but it didn't move. The walls were also surprisingly soundproofed, and they had to shout to hear each other. But the familiar voice from the other side of the wall gave Alan a little more courage. Cody's voice was anxious and worried. "Are you okay? Alan??" Allen responded, "I'm okay, but the wall doesn't seem to be opening." Cody shouted: "This wall is an organ door, it should only be opened once, it staggered us." Evan also shouted, "We found a way to keep going at this end. Do you have one on your side?" When he had calmed down, Alan looked back at his surroundings. In the dark and confined space, there is non-temperature mist released from the bottom to the top of the room, and destroyed desks and chairs are scattered on both sides, random graffiti cover walls, desks and chairs. Alan thought it might be a haunted house with a deserted school theme. Hanging behind the central skull, there was indeed a corner that connected the back passage with a faint warm yellow spotlight. He glanced into the skull's eyes again, and though he had grown accustomed to its shape, it was still somewhat frightening to be in the same room with a green-glowing skull (OS: I want to go home). Alan shouted at the wall: I've got one here too! We might have to split up, Cody said apologetically:"I'm sorry, Alan! But come on, you have to remember, they are fake!! " Evan also encouraged him on the other side:"hold on, we'll see you at the exit!" That being said, Alan lingered. Without their voices, there was a silence, like a valley without any sound, and the cold water vapor squeezed from the silence, as if it had penetrated into Alan's bones. (Sighs: Remember what I've done for your love) Alan sidestepped the skull and moved slowly forward. It was a straight passage, dimly lit, and it was impossible to see what lay at the end of the road. Rather than walk the distance quickly, Alan wanted to touch something solid. So he stretched out his hand and gently touched the cold wall, testing it with each step to see if there was an obstacle in front of him, like the half-empty skeleton, who was afraid that there was suddenly something waiting for him to bump into it. In this way, he supported the wall and moved forward at a slow pace. Cody thought Alan was just afraid of something scary. But Alan knew in his heart, what he feared more than the ghost was the despair of being alone and having to go on. His philosophy has always been that if you don't touch anything uncertain, you don't expose yourself to risk. When you encounter difficulties, just give up, and you won't use up too much energy. Life doesn't need passion and surprises, it needs peace. The two villains in his heart, one often scolds him for weakness, and the other will argue for him, which is called conservation of energy. Although it will also make him miss a lot of interesting things.
